Superintendent Manuel then discussed priorities for capital improvement projects in the district.
The final item for work session discussion involved making final (mostly grammatical) edits to the criteria and rubric that the Site Analysis Committee will use when evaluating properties for a new school. The board established these criteria at a special work session on November 29th. You can read JAM’s summary of that work session here, and can watch videos of that work session by clicking the links on this page. The criteria and rubric were approved in last night’s Business Meeting, and have been uploaded to the GMSD website. You can view the final criteria here and the rubric here.
The Business Meeting
The first item on the agenda for the Business Meeting (see agenda here) was the swearing in of new board members. Judge Bob Brannon officiated. Linda Fisher was sworn in for another term, along with newly elected members Suzanne Jones and Amy Eoff.
